The Hydrogen Dissemination in Spain
Nowadays, we are developing a technology necessary for protecting the environment and safeguarding people from environmental risks to health, the technology of hydrogen. Many efforts are still needed for the establishment of an hydrogen community and dissemination activities are crucial to encourage a better understanding of this technology within the society. As many people still don’t have a basic knowledge about hydrogen and in order to bring this technology closer to the final consumer, we need to work with the best dissemination methods. The case of Spain is analyzed and presented.
This work started as a master thesis in the last educational course. From the beginning, twenty four institutions and companies cooperates in the process. The intention is to continue through an improvement process that helps to create new dissemination methods.
The main objective of this work is to create a first vision about how the technology of hydrogen is disseminated in Spain. The principal institutions and companies in this field are classified and called to cooperate with his work.
The specific objectives are:
To introduce the author in the different aspects that are necessary to evaluate a scientist dissemination methodology.
To collect and analyze a data base from the selected sample to synthesize the main features from the Spanish dissemination work.
To use the results as a way to optimize the current methodology with the possibility of creating an alternative one.
The methodology considered is focused in the perspective of a quantitative research with a slight qualitative tendency. The quantitative research pretends to quantify one or more questions to measure the sample according to a statistical point of view. In a limit period of time, the intention is to obtain confidence and validated results with the possibility of replicating the model. The survey is the main tool used to get the results. To supply the documentary evidence, the work follows a design based in primary and secondary sources.
The survey considered consists in eleven questions focused in four points or parameters related to the dissemination of the technology of hydrogen in Spain. According to the CIS (Sociologist Research Center), this survey is classified as a social science research to inform about the information from the sample.
In this post, you can read the final work online (in spanish). You can also watch a video where I appear talking about it at Savia Solar (Madrid) in the event called “The Hydrogen Revoultion is coming” organized by The Ecometro. I feel really grateful with everybody who cooperated to do this work possible 🙂
If you have any question or suggestion, It will be a pleasure to comment 😉
